happy love thursday

kellen has always loved to color, in coloring books. (casey just likes to eat crayons... still.) but lately it is all about the blank page. his own canvas to create. a few of his favorite things to draw are fireworks, houses, trains, pirate ships, letters, and hearts. rows and rows and rows of colorful hearts. still pleasing to his orderly brain, they are in rows. but such beauty from his little hands and imagination. i am so loving this explosion of creativity. and he amazes me with what he CAN do with it. i sit in awe , "wow kellen that IS a house! and those are flowers and the tree and that is you, and that is your name, and yes x's and o's means hugs and kisses, WOW!" not sure why it surprises me, just does.
