2 girls~2 coasts~2 clicks

i  admire diptychs done as a collaboration between photographers.  3191 is a fantastic example of this.  i see others pop up on flickr and i always think oh that looks like fun.  well in my blooming friendships via this funny thing called the web i have been blessed to "meet" dear Andie.  i know she considers her calling to be wife~mother~painter, but truly she should add photog as well.  i love her images.  her spirit and love for her family is clear in all that she puts out there and shares so graciously with us all.  i live in the far east coast of Maine and she in the far west, Washington.  so very far apart in miles, but so very close in spirit.  so i took the plunge and asked her if she would be at all interested in such a project an she said yes!  :)   i know we are both nervous, but no need.  it is all for fun and to share a connection no matter how many miles are between us.  (Total Estimated Time: 48.0 hours 48 minutes... Total Estimated Distance: 3167.24 miles)  lol. so i hope you'll enjoy our little project in the weeks to come.
a road to a friend is never long.

You know what is funny/weird...we are only 27 miles different from the 3191 ladies. Which means they probably live by us, lol.
Crazy how small the world is, yes.

Oh I am so excited for our project! Fun, fun, fun!
Hugs,
a.
