daydream road trip resumed, west coast baby.

well now i am totally out of my element.  i have never been west of ohio in real life.  up and down the east coast. lived in  FL to ME and many places in between.  oh how the west coast looks dreamy.  perhaps its a grass is greener on the other side of the country thing.  who knows.  warmer climates, sprawling shores, arts, music, cupcakes.  lol  we have 3 states today, but hey this is a fantasy road trip so time will stretch and breathe easy to let me have my fill.  CA to meet steph and her crazy band of boys! OR to meet up and hit some shops with Traci (mrs french to most) and then to WA to chill with one of my bff i never met, andie.
CA dreamin with a TX girl, i want to rent a bike and cruise with steph.  though i know she will smoke me it just needs to be done.  maybe take our holgas along and hike the huge red wood forrest with her 2 urchins. then head out for some great mexican food, a few cold beers, and some live music together.  she must wear her pink tights and dancin' shoes!  (she is one hot mama) maybe i can get involved in one of her boys' latest investigations in scouting and for certain i must watch her draw in a moleskin.
now on to see traci and her blues. (check out her stream you will see) she has the knack for finding the most divine items.  so shopping is a must to see her in action.  i would love to go to ink and peat and tumbleweed boutique for some goodness. then  to fuel our shopping madness i will require oh a dozen or so of the beauties in the mosaic above from saint cupcake.  (if you have been following along yes there is a theme here, mmmmmm baked goods )  then perhaps we can take a drive to her beach, manzanita.  le sigh.   while i am here maybe we can swing a meeting with the fabulous andrea of hula seventy.  yes please!  there the 3 of us will sit in the photo booth at the famous Ace Hotel and of course i will need a pola of the sign inside.  and maybe just one more CRAZY donut at voodoo doughnuts. these donuts are like none i have ever heard of before!  maple and bacon?  yeah for real.
now hoping back in the car and headed north to stay with andie.  we will require a sleepover, yes.  so many things i want to do with andie but not so much the sights, yes that will be nice, but more so just seeing and being.  maybe watch her paint if she will let me.  and take a pic of our feet together for our project.  i want to sip tea with beautiful inspirations on it out of her lovely china, immerse myself in her land of whites,   get out our needles and knit a bit, meet her gorgeous family, take a nice long walk,  be inspired.  oh she says there ARE sights to see,  it is Seattle so starbucks of course, i'd love to walk the SAM (Seattle Art Museum) with her, how fun to do something of that nature with a painter.  and again seattle so important in music, we can check out the Experience Music Project. ( the building alone is enough to get me there!  a Frank O. Gehry sculpture masterpiece)  oh i almost forgot another photobooth!!!  andie and i will ham it up and strike a pose (or 4) in the booth at Nordstroms.   then as night is creeping in i HAVE to see a sunset on the ocean.  it rises on my waters and sets on hers.  i am never up for a sunrise, but i am certainly up for sunsets.  she loves Alki beach so there we shall sit together wrapped in a blanket i imagine, laughing and giggling and just being.  together.  that sounds nice.  this leg seems just chill to me ( as taylor would say) relaxed , those crazy east coast girls just about did me in, so here i can rest & recharge.   thanks ladies for showing me the west side.

I think we three might chip in if you wanted to fly out! Sounds like you just need to line up a sitter for a good 2 weeks!
That all sounds fabulous to me! You're so on!

P.S you can say it...the husband teases me ALL the time about my music choice. He calls it "lesbo" music. HA HA HA. I don't care, I like girl power tunes.
