breaking the fever

cabin fever that is.
we have a 1 floor house.
they share 1 small bedroom.
lets just say the walls can close in some days.
loaded us up and went to the museum where they did not bicker once.  they stayed together. they cooperated and shared willingly.  they played with balls on ramps, they rescued someone somewhere from a fire, they camped, they changed the oil of a sports car and filled her up, they sang and dressed up like a princess a sorcerer, and a king, they clanged cymbals really loud,  played in a puppet theater, made chocolate milk and ice cream at their own diner, had a sushi picnic, went to the moon, captained a lobster boat and went grocery shopping, just to name a few.  then we went for a real lunch at a local diner.  haddock chowder for me,  hot dog for kellen and chicken for casey.  it was a white sky when we went but by the time we were driving home the sky had opened and it was bright. felt good to shake off some of that cabin fever...

hello

I have four children...we used to live in a tiny house...our newer house is much bigger...the children can seperate now but choose not to...how cool is that!

we do get cabin fever though...just from being cooped up indoors...the museum sounds like a great idea :o)

wow! sounds like such a wonderful day!

i'm working as a nanny right now of 3 vibrant boys and i'm amazed at how much better they get along and behave if we go out on an 'adventure'!

I have 4 children and we live in a tiny 3 bedroom house. I know that even if we had a mansion the kids would be all together and near me.

Good for you for breaking the fever!! it can be hard this time of year. Are you ready for Spring?? I know I am :)

I know that cabin fever feeling! That's why I have a dog (well, one of the reasons!) - a reason to get out out of the house even if it's raining icy buckets outside (which it is today... good old England...)It's OK once you're out in it...
