art for the earth

 i want to cue you all in on a cool project aimee of greeblemonkey has going on, the kid art auction for earth day 2009.  do you have kids who like to make art?  or maybe know some ?  i sure do right here at home.  yesterday kellen and casey each painted a canvas in a style all their own to contribute to the auction.

and if you don't know any little artists you can still go on over to the pool and bid on something from a budding picasso for your very own home!  all proceeds going to The Nature Conservancy,  perfect for earth day.  such an easy way to teach them that even they, at 3 and 4 years old, can make a difference.   here are our contributions.  casey's "modern" piece (LOL :)  and kellen's "city in spring" complete with a yard full of painted eggs (yes we made these right after dying our easter egss so he kind of had that on the brain)   so please click on over and have a little person you know add something to the pool, or just click on over and make a bid. kid art rocks! thanks. xo
