ok bench mondays rule. i think i have expressed that clearly.  but this new found love for the absolute silly now has me obsessed with bench sightings!  ooooh there's a nice one.  oooh that one has a nice view.  oooooh what can i paint this one to make my shoes shine???!!!  get the drift.  a sickness.  i feel it coming on.  and i go to the pool (the GROWING pool)  and see what fun everyone brings.  this week some buddhas, a goat, yes a live goat, live chickens of course because there are bonus points for those!, a saw a cutie gnome,  great shoes, even someone mid jump on their bench, tree branch benches, stone benches, ladders, chairs, just FUN.  so much so i guess my enthusiasm spread and a friend from PA sent me a photo and asked me to post it on flickr for her since she has no account.(yet!!!)  :)  here is hers... 

she even brought a dino to play!

what to do next week???  each week i see everyone upping the ante! oh the pressure.  

i did not drive around all day for the perfect bench i promise.  my above bench hit me as i was taking my teen around town to hunt for summer jobs.  this was the video store bench. i liked how the shaker siding matched the bench, and thus far for bench mondays i had yet to actually stand on an official bench.  i did a chair and a milk box, but not a bench.  after this we went and saw the shriner's circus  in portland.  little ones are feeling a bit better so we went, unfortunately our germ fest has now spread its nasty ways to daddy.  he suffered through the circus.  he was a trooper.  happy monday everyone!  xo
