my friend Dani gifted me this book to read while i recovered from surgery, when just days before i was contacted by Tracey at shutter sisters and then Katherine Center herself, (author of this very book) to be a part of her video essay on moms and mom bloggers of today. (kismet!) Katherine's words woven with our images truly takes my breath away. it is beautiful and moving. her video essay will be on display at the Mom 2.0 Summit to be held in Houston this February.
i am very honored and proud to be a part of this.
here is the finished video,
love to all moms out there.
this is for all of us.
you are beautiful.

Katherine's words and the images were a wonderful way to start my day.
How completely utterly lovely!
this is soo beautiful!
Tears.
I so very much needed that reminder today. Thank you.
It is an AWESOME video, Kristin! And how amazing that you got to be a part of it. {all that "tapped in" to the universe stuff...so cool} Anyway, that's fantastic. I hope your recovery is going smoothly. Be gentle, my friend!
Fantastic! I loved catching glimpses of your images and have gone to check on all those links. I have to get that book even though I am just a newbie mommy.
Beautiful video!
It made me misty eyed, and I don't even have kids...
Hooray! Thank you so much for letting me use your gorgeous images in the video. Your photographs are always so evocative and compelling. They give a texture to the video that I'm so grateful for. I so appreciate your sharing them! And I hope you like Everyone Is Beautiful! Rather a different (more comic) tone from this essay--but the values are all the same: love, tenderness, laughter, kindness, authenticity...
Many good wishes to you. Hope you are feeling better!!
So much gratitude,
k
kismet indeed :) xo
