"truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget"
i was blessed with a weekend visit from my best girlfriend from faraway. we had not spent time together since last summer and that was just far too long. she is, and will always be, more family than a friend to us all. i find it quite fitting that on saturday when she, kellen and i walked the beach we found treasure upon treasure that we never find. a little smile from the universe. our little walk turned into 2 plus hours of the best treasure hunt ever. today we took her back to her big purple plane in the sky and said our goodbyes but promised to see each other sooner this time, not later.

my friends are definitely like family to me. sometimes more than my family is. i absolutely treasure every one of them. and i have really come to know who the truest of them are through the difficult times. i am so thankful for my friends!
