celebrating him.

i love birthdays, ALL birthdays.
i think everyone should feel special every day, but especially that day.
right now with the ages my little ones are at, celebrations mean handmade cards full of glue and pieces of this and that. kid writing in bright markers. and cakes with action figures stuck in for fun. and it is not their birthday today, but their dad's, my hubby. his cake choice never changes. chocolate cake with chocolate frosting... this year he chose a dinner of beef fajita quesadillas loaded with onions and peppers. though i forgot to buy cilantro, they were still YUMMY. this year his cake was decorated by them with sprinkles , batman (kellen's choice) and wonder woman (casey's choice). they gather around him as they sing and they help him blow his candles out... i love that moment...
