hubby, kids and i met up with our friend Beth and went to Portland's First Friday Art Walk tonight. the weather forecast and skies were "meh" all day, but once we were in the city the sun shone bright and the air was perfect. everyone was out enjoying the art music and fun. it was perfectly summery.
i was so glad to have the kids along. we saw so many performers; accordion, sax, piano, ukulele, fire jugglers, belly dancers, and even one sword swallower. it was a night full of culture for my 2 little ones. a very good way to kick off the weekend.
