i was gifted these tiny treasures made more beautiful by the handwritten words of a friend.
i love words, don't you? with a new year here much thought goes into these little words. they gather momentum and meaning through intention.
some are so good at choosing one little word, i am feeling a pull toward 3 this year.
center, balance, simplify.
join me at shutter sisters today and play along all month long in our one word pool on flickr where we celebrate "your word".
what is your word(s) this year?

i can quite zero in on a word so i guess i will just wait till it comes to me. i love words and words from friends are definitely the best. love those little shells. happy new year, kristin!
your word shells are incredible, i love them. and words are what floats my boat. i crave them written and i'm in love with them when they are found in ordinary things.
xo
I loved the concept of putting the words down on you in the form of a tattoo . . . might have to begin a running list on my arm.
i think it's incredible that we both wrote words on shells for each other! phoenix just wore her happy birthday shell necklace this week. hope you're feeling better. here are some words for you for right now:
restore
rest
refreshed
rejuvenated
ready
rock on.
Wow, that is such a cool gift. I've never seen anything quite like it. I think my word for this year will be "trust."
