becoME

becoME, a photo by kristin~mainemomma on Flickr.

i am stretching self imposed boundaries that have not necessarily served me well in the past. i am trying to be braver. putting myself, my work, my art, my passion out there. feeling so very vulnerable yet electric with the possibility of it all.

i found my one word, it is not at all the word i thought. funny how that happens. my word for this year is become.
it feels ballsy. i want to own it. i will own it.

One of the best things about getting older is that it becomes easier to move beyond those boundaries, easier to put more of yourself in your art, caring less about other people's reactions to it because it's your voice, your vision. Just wish I'd figured that out 10 years ago. Glad you are already finding your path. :)

This is wonderful, just like you are. I'm loving this word (mine is a form of be also). This will be an amazing year, I can feel it.

So beautiful - honest..open...real. Love how you 'highlighted' the 'ME' in the word.
