christmas in the city

we went into the city today so the little ones could shop for one another.

we split up, boys and girls. 

casey found just what she wanted for her brother, so she and i walked around the block while the boys took their turn. 

it felt good to be out.  it was nice that the weather was so mild. 

and i found a few signs of christmas spirit that made me smile...
