wow looking at these now is getting me all choked up. how he is quietly studying his ticket, his very own version of a golden ticket. a ticket with his name on it. trains may not mean much to some, but to my little boy they are a love. today was his very first (of many to come i am sure) rides on a "big" train. just a day trip to Dover NH. but to him it was pure delight. he sat with his daddy on the first leg and kept saying over and over "daddy this is SO cool, this is sooooo cool!" what a day. and we are lucky enough to share it all with him.

We have a place called Tweetsie Railroad. Kind of an amusement park, too. But the TRAIN. And Thomas comes every year.
That is more than sweet! He will remember that trip forever I am sure.
