ahhhhhh sigh..... can you feel it? really what power the sun has over me, and unfortunately my son. yesterday more rain and cold, he woke crying and the day went downhill from there. we went out for breakfast hoping that would make him a little happier and he just put his fork down and exclaimed out loud, "THIS IS NOT A GOOD DAY!". well i guess that about sums it up doesn't it? i think it is a combo of coming off of a fantastic high of seeing friends and having SO much fun on the weekend, leaving the chill and rain far behind for a few days, then returning home to more rain and really chilly weather (50's!!!! and 60's!!) this IS august yes???? a 4 year old doesn't know how to censor his feelings and why should he. he was just telling it like it is. refreshing. so today, waking and seeing and feeling the sun, well i put my fork down and say, " THIS IS A GOOD DAY!" :) and he must feel it too. he greeted me with smiles a mile wide and hugs and kisses.

Me too! You guys deserve every bit of sunshine you can squeeze out of the next few weeks. Hugs little guy, he is so cute!
Heck, I'm older than four and I've so had it with the gloom and rain that I've stopped censoring myself, too. This is not a good day. Period.
