keep calm and carry on

happy monday blog friends!
today i have an exciting announcement to happily share with you all.
my friend dani , some of you know her the inspirational "danisoul" on flickr,  well this wonder woman of creativity and inspiration has a new item in her shop, Rubber Soul
many of you may already be familiar with the popular poster
"KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON"
the story behind the design originates from a propaganda poster printed by the British Government's Ministry of Information in the spring of 1939.  UK book shop owners Stuart and Mary Manley discovered the poster at the bottom of an old box of books and redefined the art that you see these days.   now on to today.   Dani and Rubber Soul are eager to share that they  acquired the blessing and art from the Manley's  and have manufactured them into 2 variations as a stamp.   as dani says, "Stamp cards, your bills, envelopes, memos, your bicycle….it’s all good."  :)

please join me in clicking on over today and  grabbing one of these great new stamps for yourself or as a gift, and join in this great attitude of mind.   while you are there you may also want to check out some of these great items offered at Rubber Soul,  not just stamps!!!  interactive books like, "Wreck this Journal", "How to be an Explorer of the World", and just saw this must have for my little boy, " Pirate's Log ", great gifts like crafty peace crane kits, and of course all the stamping supplies you big heart desires.
and as the stamp says...
KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON
good message for any day, but especially mondays.
XO!

I've been wanting to buy one of those posters for quite a while, but now that my husband doesn't have a job, we're planning a move, and I just found out I'm pregnant...it seems like the perfect time for it, lol.
