sneak peek

because i am so dang excited about how it is turning out and i am also TERRIBLE at keeping secrets...

4 rows done.
6 more to iron, pin and sew.
i am making a quilt.
me!
squeeee!

***update:
a few have asked where i got all the different fabrics from.  my mom brought over a big cardboard box filled with remnants of leftover fabrics from her sewing projects,  but i also purchased a big lot of pre-cut vintage fabric pieces from this great little etsy shop, whimsie dots.  i loved them so much i bought more today.

That looks lovely! I've always wanted to make a quilt, but though it too hard and complicated to get into... perhaps not!

It's looking A-DORABLE so far. Is it all thrifted fabrics?
