taylor's high school graduation is this sunday.
today she had commencement practice and came home with her cap and gown. somehow that made it all so real.
i clearly remember her first day of kindergarten. i remember what she wore, a yellow skirt and shirt, her hair pulled up in a ponytail. a construction paper school bus tied around her neck in yarn with her name on it. all smiles. so tiny. i remember calculating in my head the year she would graduate high school... 2011... that seemed forever away. well "forever away" is here and now. wow.
we live far away from most of our family, many are making the trek here to maine for her special day. i already feel like this whole weekend will be a blur. i need to remember to carry my camera everywhere and just snap away. no time for posing, life goes too fast for that most days, especially days like these.

congrats to taylor!! what an accomplishment. i'm sure there will be plenty of picture taking going on by others, so if you're too busy chatting with family, don't fret. have an awesome weekend as i'm sure you will :)
Congrats to Taylor and YOU! You hit the nail on the head when you said whirlwind. The photos that you take will be priceless, and you'll remember the times forever. Enjoy the day and everything that leads up to it!
