exhale

exhale by kristin~mainemomma
exhale, a photo by kristin~mainemomma on Flickr.

i am sitting here, on what was my bed for the past few days here in california, wondering how it all went by so fast. how none of this will all truly sink in til i have time alone back home. there was so much laughter, some sweat, a lot more tears than i even knew i needed to spill, so much inspiration, new friends, old friends in the flesh for the first time ever, just plain awesomeness. my heart truly feels at this moment like it is so full it can do nothing but spill over into more tears. this was powerful. this shook things up. this was important. this is a gift. i feel like i am holding my breath a bit today. i admit i am never ever good at goodbyes. i say them FAR too often in my life. now i have 70 plus goodbyes to say today. some are going to ache deep, but that means that it truly meant something to be here, to SEE them, to really SEE them. and for them to see me back. when it comes down to it, this was not about the photography, though damn it was good, no this is so much more than that. breathe kristin...breathe.

(thank you sister campers)

You truly deserved every blessing that camp afforded you and all the ripple blessings that are yet to come about because of your time there! So, so glad it was so, so good! xo

Thank you for your beautiful smile, your warm presence, and your tips on light (even if the fog didn't cooperate). I hope to have the pleasure of adventuring with you again.

I love this...so happy to have connected with you. So happy that my need to remember to "exhale" was so understood and celebrated. Big exhale...big sigh. Until we meet again!

After just having our own quilters gathering in SLC you have put my own feelings into words again! The gathering of our on-line family in person is so wonderful and energizing I can't wait for the next time!
p.s. I have some catching up to do on your blog it's been a whirlwind since I returned.
